At the end of September Oxford Rotaract decided to try out a new venue for their club social. They went to the board game cafe called Thirsty Meeple. This Oxford-based cafe is the home to hundreds of different board and card games, which you can hire out and play as you have a nice cup of tea and cake.

Thank you everyone who came to our Kubb In The Park event. It was a really fun day out and lots of us were pleasantly surprized as to how much fun it is to play the traditional game of Viking Chess.
We’re really excited for our next event Kubb (pronounced [kɵb] in Swedish or [kub] in Gutnish) in the Park on Saturday 27th June! Come down and join us at 2pm in Bury Knowle Park, Headington for what promises to be a fun afternoon.
We will be bringing along some freshly baked goodies for sale along with refreshments. All money raised will be going towards our continued fundraising for the Nasio Trust and Aspire Oxford.
On Tuesday 12th May the members of The Rotaract Club of Oxford and their sponsoring club, The Rotary Club of Oxford Spires, held their quarterly joint meeting. The clubs meet together to share ideas on events, share plans for their clubs, and to catch up on chat. At this particular meeting they discussed and shared ideas on the Oxford Spires’ five year plan.
